List of old Noakes & Co pubs

Some reading of the Noakes & Co listing on breweryhistory.com takes you to a list of Noakes & Co pubs. The vast majority of these pubs are no longer in existance, and of those that are still around, the overwhelming majority are owned by big brewery chains. It is, however, reassuring to see that there are still a few pubs in the list that are independent. One of these, is the Founders’ Arms, on Hopton Street near Blackfiars, London. A photo of the pub as it is today is shown, below right.
